The Florida I love is vanishing due to strip mall expansion, parking lots, Ryan cul-de-sacs, and private fencing. Dollar stores are popping up faster than Starbucks. My parents have worked for decades to shape 100 acres of heritage swampland into the most beautiful nature preserve and it is flanked by depression and ever expanding expressways.
