Art for the 2022 Hot Water Music album Feel the Void.
This image depicts the cycle of life and death. We see Mother comforting a fragile doe, asking her to rest easy now. The doe’s body is merely a vessel of offal. In opposing corners we see death withering and life spring anew. I intended to portray familiar feelings of fear & sadness with a sense of grace and comfort. Fractured elements and floral patterns aim to compose a scene that is folksy, almost quilt like
